How this Scholarship has played an important role in my life: I lost my father at beginning of childhood and life continued with my mother and 2 sisters but God has

fulfilled my life with many beautiful things. Whatever I have seen in my dream, all mighty God has turn 

into a reality. 

One of my dreams was to become an Engineer; my elder sister who guided me throughout my life taught me that education is the only way to sort out all problems. After class XII which I completed by giving tutions to juniors, getting selection in engineering was my goal. After XII, I was not able to continue my education in the field of engineering as my family was not strong financially. My mother’s small boutique was only means of earning for us. 

As financial condition didn’t allow me to move on path of engineering, I took admission in B.Sc and started doing a job in secondary school to support my family. But Pain of not doing engineering was always in my heart by seeing the college buses and students sitting inside. 

While my life was on the way of studying B.Sc and teaching job, one day my neighbor aunt knocked the door with the news of PTC KBE Scholarship. She suggested filling the form and giving me assurance that Waheguru for sure will to good, as a result of my mother's struggle , which she is doing from a long time. To fill the form of PTC KBE, just one day was left. With support of my family I filled the form and submit it by doing ARDAS. 

As god has always supported me in fulfilling my dreams, the result was with me by the evening of 28th Sept 2007. I thanked God for such a wonderful gift and missed my father for not been with me in my best success. 

After this my life took a turn. I gave resignation to my job and cancelled my admission in B.Sc and on 6th Oct 2007, I left home for the city of Guru Nanak dev Ji ‘BIDAR’. All formalities of admission were completed by 10th Oct. I was feeling myself in heaven as my journey to my biggest dream was going to start. 

My mother left me alone in hostel with tears in her eyes but I was excited to attend my first class and to sit in the engineering college bus. I passed 4 years of engineering with enthusiasm and zeal that I want to make my family stand and my religion. 

Today I am working in Wipro as SAP Consultant and in my spare time I am giving tuitions free of cost to students who can’t afford education expense. PTC KBE scholarship is best gift in my life by God. I thank to waheguru, my mother for her struggle which she carried out for me and Special thanks to Jasbir Sir without whom this scholarship was not at 

all possible.

Current Job Profile: I am working as an associate software engineer in CGI Informations Pvt. Ltd. in application management services. This profile has given the confidence to work with such a big world's fuel company named as SHELL. I have received lot of appreciation and recognition from client side as well as from company for my tremendous work effort.

How this Scholarship has played an important role in my life: Engineering at GNDEC, Bidar was a DREAM COME TRUE opportunity for me. I was a topper in my 10th and 12th standard. I was trying hard to get an admission for engineering in Ghaziabad as i was selected in AIEEE. But due to the financial issues i have given up all my hopes. I have taken admission for Bsc in Lucknow University. But it seems i did something good in my life and God was testing me.  But finally 2 years after 12th standard in October 2007, I have started living my dream life when got selected for engineering in GNDEC, Bidar.

I have got lot of support from the professors and the management of GNDEC, Bidar. They helped me to look into myself and to find the qualities which is best suited as per the industry standards. This would not be possible without the help from the S. Jasbir Singh Ji. This scholarship have not only given me the Engineering. Degree but also the exposure for the good technical knowledge and the leadership qualities as well.

At the end I just want to say, in each and every person's life, there are some miracles which are waiting to come. But the thing is that we should not lose hope. Always have confidence in yourself, do pray to God like a child without any conditions and always give respect to your parents.

Today the life which i am living is the one which i have never thought in my dreams.

How this Scholarship has played an important role in my life: Dreams never die, they always get realized in one or another way. My dream to obtain an engineering degree in computer science was taking shape at the hands of PTC in 2006. Failing to achieve any success to secure admission in any of NITs despite being eligible for counselling and good rank, I was left with no option than to continue my graduation for second year. First year of graduation was spent in the four walls of library engrossing myself in books to prepare for entrance examinations. Undeterred faith and determination to achieve success never made me to consider my graduation sincerely or to even purchase books for that purpose. Aspirations were hit hard by reality when I decided not to go to counselling due to meagre financial resources. In the beginning of the second year, I heard of PTC scholarship for engineering aspirants and applied the same day. PTC gifted me the opportunity to realize my dream. I learnt and evolved in a human being and professional that I could never have imagined myself to be. When I reflect in retrospect, I am certain, this was the only path carved out for me and PTC made it possible.

Family Background: I used to live in Shikohabad(U.P.), where sources for education were very least. Today, I am settled in Pune along with my husband.

How this Scholarship has played an important role in my life: After doing 10+2, I wanted to pursue a professional course. I took admission in B.Sc 1st year, as my family could not meet the expenses of my engineering studies. 

Then my Grandfather saw an advertisement on PTC Channel Punjabi (formerly known as ETC) about KBE (Kaun Banuga Engineer), and he told me that you can apply here and fulfill your dreams. And, I applied for the same. I was praying hard to get selected in KBE. When I came to know that I got the selection in KBE, me and my family were more than happy. 

The team of PTC Channel Punjabi asked me to come to GNDEC Bidar on 9th Sept' 2005 for admission. I went there with my grand-parents and I finally got admission there. 

Today I am a Web Developer, just because I got this scholarship in the year 2005 through , PTC Channel Punjabi. It's a small story of my success in my life. It's just the beginning. More is yet to come. I and my family are very thankful to PTC Channel Punjabi.

How this Scholarship has played an important role in my life: Due to low family income, I never thought that I will be able to engineering but PTC scholarship made it possible and gave me a wonderful chance to make my dreams come true. I am the only one in my family who has done B.E. and I have completed masters in technology too. I have published a research paper in a journal recently. In future, I will do PhD along with the job. The status I have got today is just because of PTC scholarship which built confidence ,inspiration, determination and great spirit in me to face the world and get success through out life. I am grateful to everyone who were involved to give us such a great opportunity and helped us a lot to make our future bright.

I also attend various workshops, trainings and conferences organized by IIT's to be a part of latest research technologies in my field.

Family Background: I live in Bharuch, Gujarat with my husband. Basically I belong to Lakhimpur Kheri, UP and my father is lecturer in a Government Inter College. As I am from a very small city, there are limited resources for growth.

How this Scholarship has played an important role in my life: I was from a very small place, grownup with less resources and I belonged to a conservative family background. I did my education from government schools. However, I was grown up with a big dream that I have to do something and have to go beyond these boundaries. I passed my 12th with good percentage but after 12th, there was little hope to achieve my dreams because I knew my family conditions very well. Every night I used to sit alone, gazing at the stars and thinking for hours but at the end of my thoughts I used to sleep with sadness and no hope. Then I accepted my conditions but I had a hope that something will happen because God is never going to let my hardwork down. That was the time when I heard about scholarship given by PTC channel to those sikh students who were not able to pay their heavy fee for higher professional studies. I applied for that scholarship and selected in five students. Then the little shy girl from a small place became a confident girl who can survive in any condition with a degree 'Bachelor of Engineering'. I stared my career as a lecturer and worked in Lovely Professional University.  Then I completed my M.Tech and also entered into the research field.  But this is not the end of my dreams,  it's just a beginning. Whatever I have done and achieved till now, this is just because of the scholarship which I received, when needed. Throughout my journey from 2005 to 2014, I realized this happened because of my faith in almighty God, blessings and sacrifices of  my parents and my positive attitude.

I want to thank PTC channel and Mr. Jasbir Singh ji for giving me scholarship and having faith on me. Thank you so much for giving me this opportunity.
