How this Scholarship has played an important role in my life: Hii Folks!! My Name is Simran Kaur. I am born and brought up in Delhi.

While thinking about past , I get mixed feelings about my hardship and then overcoming them successfully.

We are family of 4, with and me being youngest in family. My father was not keeping well and not earning , bringing all responsibilities on my mother ,to take care of her two daughters, their education and family expenses. Believe me,life was not at all easy.

I was studying in Sarvodaya Kanya vidalaya,janakpuri. I topped my school in 10 and 10+2 and was applauded by local MP as well, I started teaching students in my home after 10+2 to help my mother meet expenses. Also, I enrolled myself for (BSc Chemistry Hons).

I had desires of getting professional education but had no mean to fulfill it. Sometimes, I felt directionless and prayed to almighty to show me correct path where I can educate myself as desired.

One day, I saw advertisement about scholarship - Kaun banuga engineer on PTC channel. With Hope, I filled up my candidature for it. With God's blessings, I was among 5 students selected for this bright scholarship.

After 4 years, I completed my education and got job in Ericsson, gurgaon. After working briefly with Ericsson, I moved to HCL technologies. Currently, I am working with HCL itself from more than 3 years now.

Journey which started few years back, seems to be immpossible without PTC scholarship. Time we spent in eternal environment of Gurudwara Nanak Jheera sahib, developed whole together a new person whatever I am now.

Thanks to PTC for bringing such efforts that can change life of people like me, people like you!!!
