Current Job Profile: I am in web development industry. Internet is growing at its fastest pace. And, I love the pace at which new technologies come in. I have worked in many dynamic websites e.g. business oriented website, at payment gateways etc . I look after their Design Architecture and Scalability.

Family Background: I live with my family at staff quarters of Delhi Sikh Gurudwara Management Committee. My Grand father was a shaheed in 1978 Kanpur massacre. My parents incomes are limited.  

How this Scholarship has played an important role in my life: I did my schooling from Government Girls Senior Secondary School. I stood at first rank for my 12th results in South Delhi Region. I was awarded ”Indira Puraskar 2005” by honorary Mrs. Sheela Dixit, erstwhile Chief Minister of Delhi.

After schooling, I wanted to pursue a career in Computer Science. One of my well-wisher, Dr. Kiran Dua, mentioned about PTC scholarship advertisement. I applied and with Guru Harkrishan Sahib ji's blessings, I got admission at GNDEC, Bidar. It was as if Guru Harkrishan Sahib ji, Jasbir Singh ji, PTC channel and this whole world conspired to give a new dimension to my life.

The best thing about this scholarship is that facilitators of scholarship and college faculty pay full attention to performance of each scholarship student. They motivated and guided us to study and perform at our best and lead us towards a successful career. Jasbir Singh ji is truly altruistic and has been fatherlike supportive all the way.

College life dint just teach me Engineering... our hostel was in the campus of Gurudwara Nanak Jheera. We used to do sewa and take active part in all Gurupurabs. I became a better Sikh there. Also, hostel life and friends I had there are now inevitable part of life. All this has totally revamped me in a good way.

If I glance at my career graph, at a young age, I am a Project Leader. It looks like I have achieved most. But then, I realize that it's just a beginning. Beginning towards the destiny where I will be satisfied that I lived up to the promises and prayers I made while proving my candidature for this engineering scholarship.

Today, if I introspect, I see the world as entire one unit obeying in front of the almighty. It seems as if the whole world is walking along with me. Making me nourish further with each day. A big thanks to PTC Group, GNDEC, facilitators of this scholarship for making it possible.

Destiny is all around. Required is that we step towards it.
